“ Absurd Diagnosis by Toyota of el Cajon, "water in electrical connections", truck has been stored in a dry garage and never exposed to water in the engine compartment, no pictures of damage provided. Other Toyota dealers provide pictures of damage and a quote for correction. Truck was fixed and runs with no problem so far. Also, I requested more than once information about the throttle body, and never got any answer. ”

“ I had a very disappointing experience with Toyota of El Cajon and specifically with salesperson John Arzumanyan. After visiting the dealership and negotiating a deal on a 2020 Toyota Corolla LE CPO, I received a written finance breakdown via email confirming all terms: $0 down, $340.01/month, 9.99% APR, 72 months, totaling $18,282.52. Financing was fully approved. The only reason I could not sign that day was because the car was not ready — it was still being detailed and smog tested on the dealership's end. I was told to wait to be contacted when it was ready. The next day, while I was at work and unable to respond immediately, John messaged me saying the car would arrive that night but that his colleague had an appointment to show the same car to another client — a clear pressure tactic to get me to rush in. When I replied at 6pm that I was available and ready to come sign, he told me he had already left the dealership for the day, despite knowing I was a committed buyer with an approved written deal. The following day I was informed the car had been sold. Every single delay in this process was caused by the dealership, not by me. I came in when they asked, waited when they asked, and had everything ready to sign. I was strung along with pressure tactics and ultimately left with nothing after days of good-faith negotiation. I would not recommend this dealership. If you do visit, make sure to get everything in writing and do not trust verbal commitments or urgency tactics from their sales team. ”
