“ Nice facility but nearly 3 hours for the Toyota Care 15K service is unacceptable. Basically rotate tires and check/top off fluids. My buddy recently had a knee replacement and the actual surgery took 1 hour. Why does it take almost 3 hours for a simple 15K service when you can get a complex knee surgery completed in an hour. Doesn't make sense to anyone with common sense🤷‍♂️ ”

“ Inconsistent treatment from Toyota of El Cajon Service Dept. Sometimes they acknowledge me right away, are courteous, and provide great service. Other times they ignore me for the longest time. When someone does finally acknowledge me they are rude and obviously don’t want to help. I have also received inconsistent information on body paint recall: One employee will tell me I’m eligible for a paint job and another employee will tell me the paint recall expired and not eligible. I will not go to this dealership again. I’ll go to Maverick Toyota in Lemon Grove where I’ve received consistently good service since 2010. ”

I received a video from my car service last time but this time I did not receive any video. This time they just did the service very hurriedly and I did not feel any quality in the service of my car. Toyota el Cajon service is not good working. ”

“ Went to this dealership to check out a specific used truck. Photos online weren’t up yet for the vehicle, and the description mentioned some aftermarket additions. So I wanted to see it for myself. When I showed up to the lot and went to look at the truck, a salesman came out. After a quick once over I decided I didn’t want the vehicle. The salesman started telling me “well you saw the description online, didn’t you?” like I was an idiot for wasting his time and asked why I wasn’t interested anymore. I guess when I’m looking at a vehicle I don’t feel like being questioned or interrogated by a salesman as to why I don’t want that vehicle anymore. Not sure why he thought this sales tactic was going to be effective, but it immediately prompted me to leave. I’ve had good experiences with their service department but Toyota of El Cajon will definitely not be where I purchase my next vehicle. ”
